Responsibilities:
- Deliver products safely and efficiently from the warehouse to various customers
- Unload products according to customer specifications
- Ensure all paperwork and invoicing are accurate and completed on time
- Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions
- Develop good customer relationships
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree and 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting and delivery practices. Ability to drive long distances in varying weather conditions, communicate effectively, solve problems, and handle hazardous materials and frozen, dry, and refrigerated items. Must be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and moving heavy products.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, push, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds with a hand cart. Must have good vision and be physically fit for loading/unloading tasks.
Work Environment: Work involves exposure to various weather conditions, physical exertion, and potential hazards. Overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.
