Our client in Carnegie is seeking a 1st Shift CNC Machinist
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including Lathes, Mills, and Manual Machines, to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine necessary machine setups and programming requirements.
- Load raw materials into the machines, adjust machine settings, and monitor the production process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Read and interpret G-Code programming to perform basic edits and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any discrepancies or improvements in the machining process.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality and report any malfunctions or abnormalities.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- 4-7 Years of CNC experience
- Able to set up and operate Mills, Lathes, & Manual Machines
- Ability to make edits to G-Code
- Familiar with G-Code
- Ability to read work orders & drawings
- Strong Attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime
