Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the hotel run smoothly, from managing staff to maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the night audit process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette while handling guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints.
- Foster a positive work environment by training, mentoring, and motivating staff members in the areas of hotel management and guest services.
- Ensure that all hotel facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience at the hotel or resort.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on customer service evaluations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a related field within the hospitality industry.
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and development.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a hotel setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous but not required.
