As a Recruiter for the Catalight Foundation, you will join the collaborative People Operations and Strategy team that supports Catalight and its family of companies, including Catalight Care Services, Easterseals Hawaii, and Easterseals Northern California.
You will source and build diverse candidate pipelines, demonstrate and advise on best practices in delivering fair and inclusive recruitment processes, as well as partner effectively with hiring managers and search teams to find and select qualified candidates. This position is 100% remote, supporting companies based in Northern California and Hawaii; work hours will be aligned with the Pacific/Hawaiian time zone.
Core Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions
- Develop and implement a wide range of outreach and sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Identify and execute efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards and the organization's needs.
- Assist with job postings and job marketing. Develop job announcements for career events and recruitments.
- Screen applications and select qualified applicants. Schedule interviews and oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials in alignment with our company values of equity and inclusion.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager, People Business Partners, and other POPS and Strategy staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates and other pertinent details.
- Attend hiring/interview events in-person and virtually, which may include events on weekends; coordinate event coordination/planning as needed.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information and follow all Catalight Foundation company policies and procedures as well as comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Must keep up to date with employment law updates.
- Complete additional job duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:
- High School Degree or GED required.
- 2+ years’ recruiting experience required, including sourcing online (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
- Shared Services (mgmt./operations) paired with non-profit programming recruiting a plus.
- Deep experience with fast paced high volume recruitment.
- Experience in recruiting/sourcing for Hawaii based companies preferred.
- Demonstrated success in community outreach, candidate sourcing strategies and approaches, and identifying talent pipelines for a wide range of job levels.
- Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.
- A commitment to the values of the organization while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, patience and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, and applicant tracking systems. Comfortable learning modern technologies and software as needed.
- Consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
- Work in an exciting, fast paced high energy environment while effectively multitasking and managing day-to-day responsibilities without supervision to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations of Catalight and the Family of Companies.
- Personable; able to work comfortably with individuals at all levels within the organization; demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills; frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.
- Must be highly detail oriented; excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language within the workplace.
- Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously.
- Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.
- Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication.
- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
- Must attend any required training.

Compensation:
$85,000 - $95,000
