Our Specialty practice is seeking a Medical Assistant . This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence. This position will consist of front and back-office duties including:
Responsibilities:
• Preparing patient for exams and/or procedures
• Vitals and rooming patients
• Administering medications
• Maintaining exam rooms
• Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms
• Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
• Scanning and faxing
• Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry
• Medical Record entry
• Scheduling/Rescheduling Appointments
Requirements
• Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
• 1+ years Back Office experience (preferred, not mandatory)
• MA Certificate
• Medical terminology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
• Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Pay Scale/Ranges: $ 22.00-$25.00 per hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
