A marketing analyst's primary role involves researching market conditions across local, regional, or national areas to assess the potential sales of a product or service. In this capacity, marketing analysts diligently gather information about competitors and explore various marketing and distribution strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide informed guidance to business units and stakeholders on local, national, and international market dynamics that impact product and service sales
  • Collaborate with legal teams to address complex issues such as copyright infringement and equitable royalty sharing with external producers and distributors
  • Develop pricing strategies that align organizational objectives with customer satisfaction, ensuring competitive positioning in the market
  • Direct recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for marketing and sales staff, overseeing their daily operations
  • Analyze financial aspects of product development, including budgeting, expenditures, research and development funding, and ROI and profit-loss projections
  • Formulate and execute marketing policies, working closely with advertising and promotion managers to promote products and services effectively
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategies based on a deep understanding of establishment goals, market dynamics, and cost structures
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors, establishing robust distribution networks and refining distribution strategies
  • Utilize sales forecasting and strategic planning to drive product, line, or service sales, closely monitoring market trends and business developments

Skills/ Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Additionally, familiarity with Data Cloud (1+ years preferred) demonstrates a broader understanding of data-driven marketing
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills-an ability to find common ground, build consensus, and drive positive outcomes in business interactions
  • Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction through attentive service and interpersonal skills
  • Capability of effective time management as well as ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage tasks
  • Possession of solid understanding of marketing principles, including methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services
  • Ability to develop marketing and pricing strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals and market dynamics
  • Familiarity with media production, communication techniques, and dissemination methods is essential for crafting impactful marketing campaigns

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing field
