Job Overview:

This is a contract to hire position. The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our client's infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems. This role requires extensive experience in networking, server administration, storage management, and specialized knowledge of EZE Castle Trading System and VPM.

Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Manage and maintain servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Networking: Design, implement, and manage network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
• EZE Castle Trading System: Administer and support the EZE Castle Trading System, ensuring seamless operation and integration with other systems.
• VPM: Oversee the administration and maintenance of VPM (Virtual Portfolio Manager) systems.
• Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data and systems from unauthorized access and threats.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, developers, and business units to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Upgrades and Patches: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a financial company.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in networking, server administration, storage management, EZE Castle Trading System, and VPM.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
