Expectations/Requirements:
- Preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements under IFRS and IND-AS for the group's international subsidiaries.
- Monthly MIS and handling internal/stat audits.
- Handling all finance and tax-related matters of the group’s international subsidiaries.
- Closely tracking all business and cost flow in different geographies in coordination with the business team.
- Providing alerts to management on any potential challenges in any geography or business arrangement on a proactive basis.
- Dealing with all inter-department teams and handling their finance and tax-related queries with the best solutions.
- Coordination with multiple teams and layers for any potential transactions.
- Optimization and balancing the payouts as per business requests and priority basis.
- Dealing with new challenges for finance and tax matters related to international entities.
- Providing financial advice by studying operational issues, applying financial principles and practices, and developing recommendations.
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
- Playing a vital role in troubleshooting issues and challenges raised in all financial transactions.
- Implementing initiatives for process improvement, cost reduction, and foreign currency repatriation.
Superpowers/Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with 9+ years of progressive experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Ind AS/GAAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
- Able to cohesively work with a lot of people across functions and teams every day.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systems such as SAP.
