Education and Experience:
Masters in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/related field + 3 years experience OR Bachelors in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/related field + 5 years experience required.

- SQL/Non-relational
- Data Modeling
- ETL Development leveraging Python
- Java
- Scala
- Data Warehousing
- Big data tech (Postgresql, Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Spark)
- Data streaming tech (Kafka, Spark Streaming)
- Deploying code & working with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Infrastructure-as-Code services (AWS CloudFormation or Hashicorp Terraform)
- Data Management & Data Storage best practices
- Performance & optimization diagnosis & prevention
- Data infrastructure feature dev from concept to production
- AWS big data technologies (Redshift, S3, EMR, Glue)
- SDLC best practices (agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, & operations)
