The ideal candidate will ensure that all food products are handled in compliance with safety and quality standards. They are responsible to develop and maintain a Food Safety program for the company. The individual will work hand in hand with site operations to ensure we maintain the highest safety standards possible. This individual requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the Food handling team while developing the company’s strategy for food handling.Develop processes for ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.Develop processes to monitor the quality of food products throughout the handling process, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.Implement and enforce strict hygiene and safety standards to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.Provide training to staff on proper food handling techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs and ensure we are using the proper packaging to deliver a high-quality product to our guests.Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and handling.Must be knowledgeable around industry programs such as FSMA 204, Ecosure, and Serve SafeEnsure bp’s safety, risk, and compliance culture and expectations are met.
