Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with an established construction company to identify an accounting clerk or full-charge bookkeeper to join their company.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper:

  • Review and process vendor invoices and inventory receipts
  • Assist with vendor check runs
  • Prepare and enter journal entries
  • Assist with month end close
  • Review product sales, costs and margins
  • Monitor and update product pricing
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Enter bank deposits
  • Assist in reconciling ledgers, reports and accounting records
  • Prepare monthly customer statements
  • Assist Accounting Manager with all aspects of accounting
  • Manage multiple duties and priorities simultaneously
Background Expected of Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper:
  • Associates/Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Prior accounting experience required
  • Experience with QuickBooks (2+ years)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
