Location: Denver, CO

Security Clearance: TS/SSBI/SCI

Qualifying candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a specialty in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Wireless Protocols along with a strong software background to perform cutting-edge research and development on real-time Software Defined Radio (SDR) and protocol processing systems.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Rapid prototyping in a Linux development environment, analyzing and implementing RF protocols;
  2. Implementation of real-time signal processing algorithms on Linux-based SDR platforms;
  3. Analyzing customer needs and requirements;
  4. Analyzing and troubleshooting system performance both on-site and in the field;
  5. Close interaction with software development team.

Top Secret SCI clearance is required.

Required Experience:

  1. Knowledge of digital communications theory, including detection, estimation, and demodulation;
  2. Development of engineering solutions and techniques to collect, process, and exploit signals of interest;
  3. Capable of developing modeling techniques, carrying to proof-of-concept, evolving to a prototype solution, and finally delivering operational systems;
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  5. Development of systems for the Intelligence and Defense communities;
  6. Interaction with senior level government and military personnel;
  7. C/C++ and Python development;
  8. Comfortable in a Linux development environment;
  9. B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.

Desired Experience:

  1. Knowledge of SDR;
  2. XMIDAS familiarity;
  3. Geolocation theory and techniques;
  4. Working in complex RF environments;
  5. Knowledge of 3G and 4G wireless air interface protocols;
  6. Comfortable with field deployments;
  7. Knowledge of multi-threaded signal processing algorithms in Python/C++ on Linux hosts;
  8. Code Management (e.g. Git would be ideal);
  9. Comfortable working with team-members remotely.
