A valid CDL (Commercial Driver License) Class A is not required for this position.Shifts Available:3:30 PM - 11:30 PM (Tuesday through Saturday)3:30 PM - 11:30 PM (Monday through Friday)7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Tuesday through Saturday)Day-to-Day Role:Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standardsFollow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Operate a yard truck or tractor with or without a trailer within Dart property lines, never traveling on a public roadwayCouple, uncouple, connect airlines, etc. and safely maneuver equipment in difficult situations such as narrow passagewaysConduct visual inspections of tractor and trailer and perform preventative maintenance checks and services of truck and trailer. Report any malfunctions to supervisor and maintenance staff.Coordinate with warehouse staff as needed regarding dock management, routing and sequencing of trailers or freightAssist with loading or unloading freight or product manually or via forklift, lift truck or pallet jackSupport Operational Excellence and effectively participate in lean initiatives and problem solving activities as neededEducation, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Valid driver’s license and favorable driving record upon hiring and ability to maintain both throughout duration of employmentSix (6) months prior warehouse, material handling or PIT operations experienceAbility to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) licenseAbility to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace proceduresAbility to meet safety, quality and service standardsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsDemonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issuesPreferred:Valid CDL (Commercial Driver License) Class A upon hiring and ability to maintain throughout duration of employmentOne (1) year tractor-trailer experiencePhysically Qualified under U.S. DOT regulations (part 391)Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume warehouse environment, preferredOverview: Dart makes everyday products that give people the freedom to enjoy the food & drinks they love, wherever they are.
