As they look to expand their team, they are in search of a Senior Account Manager who can help drive their sales efforts across key territories in North America.


Position Overview :


In this remote-based role, the Senior Account Manager will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and enhancing the company’s market presence, particularly in the Los Angeles, Utah, and Nevada regions. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in molecular biology and prior sales experience to engage with key industry accounts and academic institutions.


Key Responsibilities :


  • Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of each territory, ensuring revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with important industry stakeholders, including prestigious academic institutions such as UCLA, City of Hope, USC, and UCI.
  • Market Insight : Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Customer Engagement : Engage with customers to understand their specific requirements and demonstrate how the company’s products can meet their research goals.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with broader company objectives.
  • Reporting : Provide regular updates on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to senior management.


Qualifications :


  • Educational Background : A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related life sciences discipline.
  • Sales Experience : 2+ years of successful sales experience in the life sciences research tools industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of the market and customer needs.
  • Laboratory Experience : 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields, providing valuable context for customer interactions.
  • Driving Requirements : A valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and automobile insurance must be maintained at all times.
