Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs for attorneys at all levels, focusing on legal skills, practice management, and professional development.
  • Assess the training needs of attorneys through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
  • Stay current on legal trends, best practices, and innovations in training methodologies.
  • Collaborate with external training providers and legal educators to enhance program offerings.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Maintain training records and track participation and progress of attorneys.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to attorneys seeking professional development.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of training experience in a law firm
  • Current knowledge of industry best practices, trends and techniques
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Knowledge and implementation of the annual budget process
  • Knowledge of business and legal forms and formats
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills
  • Ability to administer Firm policies and procedures
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
  • Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgement
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
  • Flexibility to travel

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $125,000 - $140,000
