Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for attorneys at all levels, focusing on legal skills, practice management, and professional development.
- Assess the training needs of attorneys through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
- Create engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
- Stay current on legal trends, best practices, and innovations in training methodologies.
- Collaborate with external training providers and legal educators to enhance program offerings.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
- Maintain training records and track participation and progress of attorneys.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to attorneys seeking professional development.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of training experience in a law firm
- Current knowledge of industry best practices, trends and techniques
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
- Knowledge and implementation of the annual budget process
- Knowledge of business and legal forms and formats
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrates close attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills
- Ability to administer Firm policies and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
- Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgement
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
- Flexibility to travel
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary of $125,000 - $140,000
