Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimator specializing in commercial and municipal building projects. This role prepares cost estimates using construction plans and industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will monitor bids, RFPs, and estimates, informing management of new business opportunities or missed chances. As needed, the Cost Estimator will manage assigned construction projects on-site, ensuring performance through the prioritization of safety, schedules, costs, equipment, manpower, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate forecasts for cost, project size, and duration.
• Participate in pre-bid decision-making; review drawings, perform site visits, and gather critical data.
• Please prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, subcontractors, and equipment needed for projects.
• Analyze subcontractor bids and manage project performance on-site as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, or 2+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in blueprint reading and estimating software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail.
