Summary:
Our Fortune 200 client located in Downtown Houston is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to support the Collections/Operations team. This team is focused on enterprise-level reporting throughout the organization and needs someone who can perform data analysis, create dashboards and scorecards that identify drivers, and create strategic recommendations that are presented to key SLT partners. Technical Requirements:
- Data visualization experience with PowerBI

Core Responsibilities:
- Ensures all projects and data developed is value-adding and provides actionable insights.
- Building new data tables, and making adjustments to existing tables.
- Presenting reports and findings to VPs and Senior Stakeholders.
- Ability to find a way to be able to look at data to see how it will change reporting.
- Ability to understand a business problem and work through various legacy systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with internal business members.
- Analyzes requests to ensure that they are value-adding and prioritized appropriately.
- Ability to write SQL queries from scratch.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the quality of data sets and reporting created by the team, ensuring they are repeatable and sustainable.
- Monitors the value proposition of the reporting/analysis during the production process, and actively communicates analysis with stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and conduct analysis that drives meaningful change on KPIs and critical objectives established by the stakeholder.
- Ensures all requests are logged for data, reporting, and analysis.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Present to senior leadership, working with this team as a partner and providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Working and joining together large, disparate data sets to uncover actionable insights.
- Be a hands-on analytical business partner who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to solve complex business questions through data.
