They have an opening for a true "A" player to spearhead their small(er) rapidly expanding Surgical Service line with responsibility for a large number of Operating Rooms and very complex operation!
Manages and provides operational and nursing leadership ensuring the quality of nursing care within preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative areas at a state of the art hospital in San Francisco!
Plans and organizes operations and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care consistent with applicable laws, standards and regulations. Provides patient care and acts as a resource person to the staff and assures patient care needs are met in the department.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Masters degree preferred.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- Multiple years progressive clinical/healthcare management and/or operations experience with increasing responsibilities
- Multiple years management, supervisory or team lead experience.
- Multiple years experience in survey protocols on a department and organizational level
