Position Overview: They are seeking a motivated and analytical Private Equity Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in all phases of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and portfolio management. This is an exciting opportunity for Investment banking candidates looking to grow their careers in private equity and make a significant impact within our firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct extensive market research to identify potential investment opportunities and industry trends.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation of target companies, including LBO modeling and sensitivity analyses.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in due diligence processes, collaborating with legal, accounting, and operational experts to assess investment viability.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio company performance, supporting value creation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and co-investors.
  • Support senior team members in fundraising efforts and investor relations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree)
  • 2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, venture capital, or management consulting.
  • Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and convincingly.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
