POSITIONS IN HAGERSTOWN. The purpose of this position is to provide direct social work services to offenders under the supervision of Division of Parole and Probation. Duties include: Providing clinical supportive services and individual counseling for crisis intervention as assigned. Providing psychosocial assessments/remediation plans as assigned. Conducting therapeutic/didactic groups, as well as individual support groups with a cognitive-behavioral theory base to the general population. Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team which may include progress review meetings or group formatted sessions as assigned. Completing a variety of administrative tasks associated with carrying out the social work functions such as maintaining and completing monthly reports and statistics. Serving on special work groups as assigned by supervisor. Attending clinical staff meetings when scheduled.
