JOB REQUIREMENTS: About Us: Auburn Ridge is a leader in providing innovative solutions and high-quality building products to builders. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate cost estimations, material take-offs, and efficient project execution for our clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Pre-Take-Off Review: Perform pre-take-off reviews and secure non-stock item pricing from vendors to ensure accurate project budgeting. Take-Offs and Estimation: Perform accurate millwork, interior and exterior door, window, and manufacturing millwork take-offs. Secure engineered floor drawing/quotes and truss drawings/quotes from vendors, ensuring accuracy by reviewing point loads, beam capacity, truss heel, and other key specifications. Quoting and Software Management: Write Dynamics quotes based on take-offs and maintain vendor pricing libraries and the Auburn Ridge portfolio binder. Update and maintain estimating software to align with Auburn Ridge\'s product offerings and specifications. Project Management Support: Maintain and update the project manager task list to ensure smooth workflow. Review final design, selections, and Change Orders for accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Customer and Sales Support: Assist the Sales team in their absence with customer service communications, ensuring a seamless client experience. Process Change Orders and next-day orders for millwork, window, and lumber projects according to Marshall Towne standards. Communicate with the Salesperson/Designer about elements that need modification due to field verifications, material availability, or construction parameters.
