Job Summary: Our team is looking for a highly committed Outreach Driver to engage with underserved individuals in our community. Our Outreach Drivers identify, engage, and transport individuals in need to our clinics so they can receive HIV awareness, prevention, and education, and offer STD and HIV, Hep C testing and treatment. This includes treatment counseling and linkage for underserved community members. The role provides risk reduction awareness, and advocacy to the community.
Reporting to: Office Manager
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The job duties listed below are the essential job functions of this role. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, and new responsibilities may be assigned with or without prior notice.
Maintain a professional and favorable public image for the community by building relationships with community members
Conducts community outreach services by visiting community centers, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, public parks, bus & train stations
Educates potential at-risk clients regarding HIV/HEP C/STD risk reduction, testing, and treatment information
Recruits participants for testing, treatments, and counseling services and provides transportation to and from the clinic for service
Identifies medication readiness for patients to pick up
Distributes preventive materials such as safe sex kits at community locations while engaging with the underserved community in efforts to promote HIV/STD testing and preventative knowledge
Maintains and protects company vehicles and property while conducting daily transportation
Aids office manager in obtaining office supplies and resources, this may include but is not limited to:
Retrieving pharmacy medication
Retrieving sex care kit from DOH
Retrieving coupons and bus fairs
Additional Duties:
Maintains strict patient and employee confidentiality.
Attends all mandatory staff meetings
Minimum Required Qualifications &Experience:
A valid driver’s license
Prior experience in a primary driver-oriented role
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Bilingual
Outreach experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work or related field is preferred
Two or more years of professional work experience as an Outreach Coordinator working with HIV Positive, drug addicts, and prevention of STDs, is highly preferred.

Education:
High school diploma or the general equivalent of a diploma (GED)
Licenses:
A valid driver's License and reliable access to transportation
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting in the car and prolonged periods of standing when conducting outreach services
Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds occasionally
