Job Title: Family Services Assistant
Job location: 3432 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452
Schedule: (FT) 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $15.48 hourly
Job Duties:

• Engage clients in the community in a variety of settings to include family homes, schools, and hospitals.
• Document client contacts and interaction in a variety of digital case management applications.
• Consult with supervisory team members, and city attorneys regarding the safety, wellbeing, and permanency of children.
• Assess child safety and risk utilizing a variety of structured decision-making tools, interviews, and observations.
• Family time/visitation supervision, observation, coaching, and support.
• Well child direct face-to-face contact.
• Home safety/environment checks.
• Transportation to and from medical appointments, court appearances, scheduled appointments, visits, etc. for child welfare clients.
• School transport
• Supervision of minor children during case planning meetings, court appearances, therapy appointments
• Shopping for foster children in non-foster home settings
• Completing food basket deliveries

Additional Requirements:

• DMV Transcript
• Fingerprinting and CPS Screening
