Job Title: Distribution EngineerJob Description

Distribution Engineers are expected to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet the needs of our clients. They contribute to the analysis and design of all structural elements within the Transmission systems, including steel structures, foundations, and anchorage. They also contribute to the design of transmission line steel lattice towers, steel poles, and foundations. They are expected to be responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented.

Hard Skills

  • Technical subject matter expert

  • Professional Engineer (PE) preferred

  • 3+ years of experience (ideal is 5-10 years)

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) required

  • PLS CADD and AutoCAD proficiency

  • Microstation proficiency preferred

  • Knowledge of Portland General Electric (PGE) standards

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (Civil/Structural preferred)

  • Underground distribution design experience

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Portland, Oregon and some days remote.

Work Environment

Mostly remote, hybrid, or in office/client sites depending on residence in Portland, OR area and preferences.
