Job Description:
The David Koch Center for Cancer Care provides a dynamic outpatient setting for leading edge cancer treatments. The Koch Center re-designs the way in which cancer care is provided, with an emphasis on innovation, continuous data-driven improvement, and an optimized patient experience.

 

We are currently seeking Peri-Anesthesia Nurses to join our new team.  Peri-Anesthesia Clinical Nurses implement the nursing process for IR and Endoscopy patients in both the Pre-Procedural and Post-Procedural Recovery area.

You will:

Facilitate patients through the procedure process as well as providing intensive monitoring and nursing interventions post-operatively.

Perform duties under the direction of the nurse leader/charge nurse. 

Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.

You need:

New York State RN license and BSN

Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience, preferably in a critical care area

Surgical oncology experience preferred

National Certification highly preferred

BCLS and ACLS required

 

Hours:

10 hour shifts flexed between  6:00am-9:00pm including weekends.

 Pay Range: $119,000-$146,850
