Description: CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a IT Logistics Technician for an onsite role in downtown Fort Worth. This position requires working five days a week in the office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the rollout of PCs and POS hardware to store locations, providing remote instruction and troubleshooting, and handling other hardware-related tasks as required.


Job Summary: The IT Logistics Technician will support the deployment and maintenance of hardware systems at various store locations. The candidate will provide remote support, perform troubleshooting, and assist with hardware configuration and shipping. Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, as well as knowledge of reverse logistics processes, is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with hardware rollout to store locations, including interacting with store personnel and onsite technicians.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting of store POS equipment, including PCs, monitors, Lexmark printers, barcode printers, HP printers, receipt printers, and barcode scanners.
  • Use a computerized system to perform remote configurations and equipment setups.
  • Interact with Shop Support Personnel and Shop Personnel as needed to provide assistance with troubleshooting hardware problems.
  • Research and resolve hardware problems, logging customer calls with updates, status, and completion information in the ticketing system.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking equipment for stores.
  • Assist with hardware configuration and shipping as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED with 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Associate's degree or technical school preferred.
  • Point of Sale (POS) hardware experience preferred.
  • Ability to remotely diagnose and repair PC hardware problems.
  • Dell Warranty Parts Direct certification preferred.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of CCTV systems is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows 7 & 10 issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical information understandably.
  • Effective follow-up and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills, both oral and written.
  • Previous telephone customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Warehouse inventory experience.
  • Must be able to operate or learn how to operate a hydraulic pallet stacker.


Physical Demands:

  • Standing continuously throughout work shifts for device repair, configuration, packaging, and shipping.
  • Occasional sitting during ticket/email follow-ups.
  • Frequent bending in all directions using proper techniques.
  • Frequent lifting throughout work shifts for shipping/receiving, stocking, rotating, and moving devices to/from workbenches.
  • Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 40 pounds without assistance for short distances and up/down ladders.
  • Occasional group lifts of over 41 pounds.
  • Frequent extended reaches into pallet-depth racks, occasionally from a ladder.
  • Frequent walking between storeroom and production area.
  • Occasional ladder climbing to reach material storage areas on shelves and racks.


Environmental Demands:

  • Frequent exposure to loud noises is common in a warehouse environment.
  • Occasional work performed in an office environment with low noise levels.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme cold and hot weather.
