Children have a natural curiosity that lends itself to science, technology, math, and engineering. At Engineering For Kids, we inspire kids ages 4 to 14 to build on their innate desire for answers by exploring engineering concepts in a fun, hands-on way. We offer afterschool programs, evening classes, camps, birthday parties, and special events designed to present kids with challenging yet accessible engineering activities from which they can learn and grow.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and versatile Learning Center Administrator to join our team at Engineering for Kids Cypress-Katy. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and passionate about working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Check-In and Check-Out: Manage the check-in and check-out process for students, ensuring all students are accounted for and properly supervised.
Classroom Preparation: Prepare and organize classroom supplies and materials before each class.
Student Transportation: Safely transport students from local schools to the learning center and Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
Sales and Marketing Support: Answer sales and marketing calls, providing information about our programs and services.
General Cleaning: Ensure that classrooms and common areas are cleaned and sanitized after each session.
Teacher Assistance: Provide support to instructors during classes as needed, including helping with student engagement and managing classroom activities.
Additional Responsibilities: Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the center director or management team.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a learning center or educational environment, is a plus
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving records
