Apollo Technical Has an immediate need for a Solutions Architect in the Dallas area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine software requirements.
- Creating high-level product specifications and design documents.
- Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow.
- Guiding and assisting the development team throughout the process.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design.
- Ensuring that the team adheres to development schedules and deadlines.
- Presenting regular progress reports and participating in setting goals.
- Coordinating with QA on testing the final product to ensure it is completely functional and meets requirements.
- Updating software solutions as required.
- Responsible for delivering architecture designs and ensuring solution meets business objectives and technology best practices.
- Developing architecture design and overseeing deployment to ensure project success.
- Providing deep subject matter expertise across multiple disciplines including detailed software, IT infrastructure, security, business applications, and system integration.
- Familiar with cloud offerings including, but not limited to, Alibaba, Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiar with Software Architecture concepts, design principles, best practices, standards, and patterns.
- Experience in container platforms and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Leading design activities in an Agile software development team.
- Performing code reviews.
- Performing technical due diligence on platforms and solutions when limited or no documentation is available.
- Evaluating, identifying and developing software solutions.
- Leading software development ceremonies.
- Documenting and recording every aspect of an application or software.
- Training and overseeing the activities of the members of the development team.
- Planning, tracking and scheduling software deliverables.
- Locating and directing solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interface.
- Looking for problems within software systems and resolving the issues.
- Performing job duties in a safe manner.
- Attending work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
- Preferred: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience in software development and project management.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details.
- Knowledge of software vulnerabilities and remediation (OWASP/SANS CWE).
- Proficiency in coding in languages such as C#, Python, Java, Go, SQL.
- Experience in developing secure Integration APIs, GraphQL and deployment on API Gateways such as Azure APIM GW, MuleSoft API GW etc.
- Experience in front end development including React Native, or other front end development framework or Native iOS or Android Mobile applications.
- Ability to think strategically in a highly complex environment.
- Ability to lead, influence and mentor others.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Target salary range: $125k - $150k
Bonus Eligible: up to 15%
