Career CoachInstructors plan and deliver lessons, monitor, and assess clients' progress on an ongoing basis, participate in the intake process as requested, create Individual Learning Plans with clients, and collect, record, and report all necessary information on admissions and clients.Job Duties:Responsible for planning, organizing, and teaching in a manner that encourages academic achievement and development in harmony with the school's position, mission, and valuesPromotes and directs successful clients learning in keeping with the learning-centered values and goals of the schoolDevelop and deliver instructional lectures and practical learningUsage of appropriate learning techniques to ensure the success of each clientAssess clients' learning pathsCommunicate effectively to the School Counselor the progress of each clientEffective public speaking skillsDevelops syllabi that clearly outline the course requirements, rationale, goals, and objectivesSubmits digital copies of syllabi and course handouts to the School Counselor for clients' progression and reviewsPrepares class sessions and assignments to help clients grasp course content and how it integrates with overall clients learning outcomes for the courseTeaches courses according to the descriptions and following defined course standards and outcomes creates a learning environment that encourages the client's involvement and participation.Document clients' attendance, participation, and academic progress by giving and grading assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations that lead to a final gradeSubmit course gradesEducation and Experience Desired OR the Equivalent Experience: B.A. or B.S. degree preferred with coursework in Education; OR related discipline desired; OR 1+ years of teaching experience; OR equivalent experience. A minimum of 18 months of experience managing a human services delivery system; Microsoft Officer Educator Certificate Required. CPR/1st Aid, Background Check, Fingerprinting, and TB test current to less than one year.
