Essential Responsibilities:

1. Review of monthly business summaries and variance analysis and commentary
2. Review monthly prepaid, accrual, equity and other necessary reconciling schedules for member firms
3. Maintain accurate data within member firm Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
4. Produce annual budgets and forecasts for member firms
5. Prepare and record month end journal entries for member firms
6. Work with VP of Finance and provide needed information for the annual audit or review for member firms
7. Assist outside CPA firm with the preparation of annual tax returns for member firms
8. Provide regular reports to the member firms and evaluate goals on a quarterly basis
9. Oversee AR/AP functions in member firms
10. Ensure member firm financials are in compliance with GAAP
11. Review reconciled member firm bank accounts weekly
12. AP ACH approval for member firms
13. Review member firm weekly flash report variances and provide commentary
14. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
15. Oversee a team of Regional Finance Managers

Qualifications:

1. Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
2. Experience: 7+ years of experience in an accounting role, including experience in a managerial or supervisory position. Experience in a regional or multi-site finance role is required.
3. Strong understanding of financial principles, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
4. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.
5. Strong leadership skills to lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
6. Effective communication skills to present financial information to stakeholders, collaborate with other departments, and lead financial discussions.
7. Excellent understanding of financial processes and principles.
8. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
9. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
11. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
12. Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
13. Familiarity with the A/E industry is preferred, but not required.
