Position Summary:
The focus of the Northern Trust Securities, Inc. (“NTSI”) Financial Advisor is to advise on a variety of investment solutions, as part of an overall Wealth Management process. Financial Advisors work with both commission-based investment solutions and managed accounts.
- The NTSI Financial Advisor consults with clients to identify their objectives and appetite for risk, recommending strategies to meet client goals.
- Work in a team environment to identify and develop specific clients and prospects that are compatible with Northern Trust.
- Utilizes broad knowledge of capital markets and terminology to educate clients and partners on specific investment strategies.
- Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of securities industry and sales experience
- Required Securities license: Series 7, 66 (or 63/65)
- Strong sales, communication, and group presentation skills
- Must have broad based knowledge of all securities products
- Individual must be goal driven and self-motivated

Salary Range:
$110,000-$160,000
Salary range is an estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement and pension plan contributions, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life insurance, and other wellbeing benefits .
