Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a qualified EHS Manager to join our team. Safety is a core value, and as a safety professional, you will play a crucial role in facilitating our growth in a safe and compliant manner. This position will focus on compliance, analysis and investigation, and promoting safety behaviors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental health and safety programs for manufacturing operations, construction sites, and various locations.
• Ensure compliance with written programs, customer compliance websites, posters, logs, marketing materials, and documentation for regulatory agencies.
• Represent the company during audits from regulatory bodies or customers, facilitate corrective actions, and handle communications related to audits or inquiries.
• Establish inspection policies, procedures, and schedules for routine inspections, involving all employees and ensuring timely implementation of identified improvements.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and collaborate with leadership and human resources to implement corrective actions.
• Analyze data to predict hazards and co-develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company, including offsite customer locations.
• Prepare, schedule, and deliver safety training on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics for new hires, annual compliance, and post-accident situations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Five years of related experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification in both Construction and General Industry.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies in manufacturing facilities and construction sites.
