Tax Accountant-Melbourne

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Tax Accountant for ourclient in Melbourne, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information to prepare individual, corporate and partnership tax returns for the company according to laws and regulations
• Handle tax return issues as required
• Maintain fixed asset/depreciation schedules
• Perform income tax calculations for federal & state audits; also provide financial reports and update closing schedule

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of partnership taxation experience required

Skills/Knowledge

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v lookups, formulas) skills are essential
• Great multi-tasker, detail/customer service-oriented and deadline driven
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
• Prior accounting software knowledge required

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• EA, JD or CPA required

Work Hours/Pay Rate

• Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
• $80-120K
