Family-owned for four generations, Riboli Family of San Antonio Winery is a fixture in the global wine business, producing wines from various prestigious California regions.
SUMMARY:
Assist the sales team in designated geographical area to meet and exceed all sales objectives and goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as a portfolio expert within the territory with the majority of the focus on the RFW Fine Wine portfolio.
- Territory will consist of 80 active accounts and 20 target accounts. Approximately 90% of territory will be On Premise and approximately 10% Independent Retail.
- Develop and maintain target account lists to grow the RFW Fine Wine portfolio within the designated territory.
- Responsible for distribution growth in top high-end restaurants and independent retail accounts.
- Work independently as well as with Sales Teams to promote RFW Fine Wine items and provide brand education.
- Effectively communicate RFW Fine Wine priorities to accounts and within distributorship.
- Teamwork – work with teammates via POD drives, and market work withs.
- Communicate with Sales Managers on sales strategies and goals.
- Conduct sales strategy and portfolio education at team meetings and GSM’s.
- Take the lead on Winemaker visits and supplier work withs within the territory.
- Conduct staff trainings in the On Premise on our brands.
- Conduct Winemaker dinners and consumer events in the designated territory.
- Host customer visits at the LA winery and Paso Robles facility.
- Prospect Regional Restaurant Group accounts within designated territory.
- Submit Weekly Recaps to supervisor on new account openings, new placements, and events.
- Resolve customer issues by following appropriate administrative processes and company policies and escalating issues to management as appropriate.
- Position will report to Broad Market Sales Manager.
- Expected to be in accounts prospecting, supporting, and building relationships at least 3 evenings per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must possess current driver’s license and maintain current auto insurance coverage.
- Must reside in respective Territory.
- Minimum 4 years on premise sales experience working for a distributor.
- High level of wine education and familiarity with on premise channel a must.
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Required to successfully pass a background check and drug test.
- Must have the ability to lift 45-55 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must adhere to a 40 hour work week (Monday- Friday).
- Flexible hours- May be required to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to travel and stay overnight occasionally.
