Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage team to effectively execute tasks assigned reinforcing critical thinking, sense of urgency and accountability.
- Collaborate with senior management, business areas, project management, and IT to ensure alignment on business objectives and to gain deep knowledge of key processes, procedures, and needs.
- Develop, analyze, and modify where appropriate, standard processes as needed to maximize team efficiency.
- For business analysis oversight, lead analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows. Evaluate requirements, standardize document specifications, and ensure business and stakeholder alignment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within business analysis methodologies. Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and the quality of deliverables, partnering with Continuous Improvement manager where appropriate.
- Identify potential risks and issues within projects or processes related to business analysis. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Analyze quality metrics, performance indicators, and business data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement with a heavy emphasis on creating repeatable processes. Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Develop training programs (by leveraging company provided training courses and resources) to enhance the skills of the team in business analysis. Foster a culture of learning, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee teams to ensure performance including scalability and load testing prior to implementation and conduct regression testing.
- Assist with the identification, tracking, and resolution of defects where deemed appropriate.
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical business partners.

Experience:
- Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience in relevant field is preferred.
- 8+ years experience in business analysis or software testing, including prior management experience.
- 5+ years experience in an increasing leadership role, proving ability to effectively lead and motivate a team, and drive accountability through change.
- Experience with agile methodologies/sprints.
- Prior experience in healthcare, insurance, or financial services industry is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate others.
- Must be an analytical and strategic, out of the box thinker who is willing and able to be hands-on with the team and projects.
- Ability to develop an established team consisting of staff at various levels and foster a resilient and adaptable team culture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen eye for identifying weaknesses and anticipating issues before they occur; and have initiative to take action.
- Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and appropriately with all levels of the organization.
- Understanding of design/development methodologies and project management concepts.
- Understanding of IT terms and processes.
- Strong time management and ability to work on multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with Teams, Jira, Confluence, AWS, and Smartsheet or similar tools is strongly preferred.
