Frontdoors Media has a unique opportunity for a Chief of Staff. We’re looking for a creative problem solver who enjoys cultivating relationships and being a trusted resource for their workplace. This is a highly visible position in a dynamic, collaborative environment. 


What you’ll do:

  • Cultivate relationships with current and prospective Red Book members.
  • Manage Red Book daily operations by updating and maintaining member databases, processing financial transactions and fulfilling orders. 
  • Cultivate relationships with local foundations and nonprofit organizations.
  • Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute the annual Frontdoors Philanthropic Honors event and other Frontdoors/Red Book events as needed.
  • Manage production and delivery of The Red Book  and Frontdoors Magazine  by overseeing all aspects of the production process, to include collaborating with creative agencies, printers and other vendors. 
  • Collaborate with vendors to distribute Frontdoors Magazine .
  • Represent Frontdoors Media at daytime, evening and weekend fundraising events throughout the Valley 1-3 times per week during event season (September-May). 
  • Direct operational efforts of the Center for Positive Media on behalf of Frontdoors Media (co-founder) by co-managing daily operations with Inspired Media 360 including overseeing tenant sub-leases, scheduled maintenance with landlord and handling other tasks and communication as needed. The Center is a collaborative space that houses seven companies dedicated to inspirational storytelling, creativity and positive impact.
  • Identify and cultivate sales and revenue opportunities for the company, for which a commission structure will be provided.
  • Assist publisher and CEO with scheduling and correspondence.


What you bring:

  • The ability to cultivate genuine relationships with external stakeholders and team members.
  • Strategic thinking, a proactive approach to problem solving and excellent communication skills.
  • An innate ability to be resourceful, take initiative and pay close attention to details in order to ensure consistency across processes. 
  • The ability to stay organized while meeting deadlines and multitasking projects.
  • A bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of related experience or the equivalent.
  • Experience in a high-volume production environment. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and database management software.  
  • The ability to lift or move objects of moderate weight (i.e. boxes of printed materials, supplies, etc.).
  • A valid Arizona driver’s license.

Compensation:

This can be a contract or salaried position. We offer a generous PTO package, which includes personal time away from the office in addition to office closures for the week of Christmas and the week of 4th of July as well as several Friday closures during the months of June and July.
