About the Role
As a Senior UX Researcher at FareHarbor, you will be responsible for conducting end to end research for multiple projects concurrently while clearly communicating actionable insights with product managers, designers, and engineers. This person will drive strategic value by understanding which research questions to prioritize based on product and business goals and which methods to use based on the question at hand. The Senior UX researcher will have expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and be able to communicate the value of each to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an attentive listener, a confident facilitator, a skilled problem solver, and a team player; able to collaborate across teams and stakeholders. This role will be temporary with a duration of 6 months.
What you'll do here:
  • Expert in craft:
    • Responsible for conducting the right research, using the right methodologies, at the right time.
    • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of generative and iterative research studies in your area.
    • Committed to high-quality and rigorous research. Stay up-to-date on current best practices, trends, and technologies in user experience research.
  • Be a self starter:
    • Comfortable identifying research needs and developing research plans in ambiguity.
    • Expert knowledge in various research methodologies and open to learning new methods.
    • Support product and company goals by demonstrating the ability to derive actionable insights and outcomes
    • Leverage data analytics in understanding and measuring user experiences.
  • Collaborate to drive value:
    • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to clearly define research problems, distilling technically complex requirements into actionable research plans.
    • Develop and maintain communication rhythms with working teams to ensure research findings are integrated into the product development process.
  • Lead and mentor:
    • Provide mentorship and guidance on research techniques, methods, and processes to team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital products, specifically in SaaS companies.
  • Extensive experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams in iterative product development cycles.
  • Track record of translating business needs into research questions, and insights into business impact.
  • Visualization of research insights in ways that go beyond reports, while knowing when to deliver just bullet points.
  • Support multiple work streams and different initiatives concurrently while connecting dots across product experiences.
  • An excellent communicator with high emotional intelligence and a great collaborator.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated and autonomous. Successfully prioritize and execute on projects with quality outcomes.

This role will be temporary with a duration of 6 months.
Salary Range: $125,600-$188,400 annually (please note - this will be a temporary role with a 6-month duration)
