The professional position of Software Engineer - AI Systems requires the beneficiary to have an in-depth knowledge of AI, video processing and computer vision machine learning algorithms. The ideal candidate has demonstrable knowledge in AI/Machine Learning workflow including model design, dataset creation, training and inferencing for real-time video streaming camera systems. As a member of our Software Engineering development team, the worker will develop and deploy industry-leading software products in conjunction with our industry-first PanaCast multi-camera array systems and related products. This individual will work closely with senior management, as well as the hardware engineering teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy industry-leading multi-camera products video processing algorithm.
- Explore latest hardware and software technologies and build proof-of-concepts for next generation products.
- Contribute to team-based projects and manage individual project deadlines and deliverables.
- Working within image/video-based CNN/RNN models, AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe and PyTorch. Data collection, cleaning and labeling for image/video-based models.
- Object detection, activity detection, segmentation, and image registration implementations.
- Capable of applying latest AI research results to new products.
- Ability to port and optimize inference engines to edge devices GPUs, DSPs and CNN accelerators.
Must possess MA/S in Computer/Electronic Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience.
Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $145,000.00 to $150,000.00. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
