Unit Information: Respiratory Therapy

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Shift Details: Day and Night shifts available

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, PALS

Scrub Details: Scrub Color/Attire - Pewter

Floating Requirements: Not specified

EMR Used: MEDITECH

Unit Size: 419 beds with 48 staff members

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:10-15 for first rounds

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Arterial Punctures
• Oxygen Therapy
• Aerosol Therapy
• Non-invasive ventilation

Other Relevant Skills:

• Patient assessment skills
• Perform treatment procedures as ordered by physician
• Critical care experience preferred

Weeks On-Call: Work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
