Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional career opportunity available for a Retail Operations Manager based for our Rodeo Drive boutique. The successful candidate will be part of the retail team and will be in charge of the following:

Main Activities and Responsibilities

  1. Provide consistent and dedicated guidance to the stores of competence, in order to ensure compliance with global company policies, procedures & standards.
  2. Ensure the full efficiency of store back-end processes and the utmost care for the company's product.
  3. Coordinate global retail operations strategy implementation in close partnership with Senior Retail Management and Store teams.
  4. Periodically visit all the stores in the designated area and conduct audits and training for all aspects of Retail Operations.
  5. Ensure the stores are following company policies and operation guidelines.
  6. Responsible for maximum efficiency of stockrooms organization (merchandise & non-merchandise) in order to better support the sales process.
  7. Monitor product returns and rotations vs the plan agreed with Logistics and Buying.
  8. Conduct audits of stock movements.
  9. Assist store teams in reconciling stock discrepancies and report any stock loss, stolen cases, etc.
  10. Schedule and manage stock-takes and cycle counts, guaranteeing alignment in the execution, along with action plans to improve.
  11. Process and analyze all relevant data, monitoring the main KPIs concerning the region.
  12. Run all planning and forecasting activities.
  13. Create monthly sales reforecasts and analyze sales to flag risks and identify growth opportunities.
  14. Run standard reports and build ad hoc analysis in order to share information and analyze the business performance within the region.
  15. Consolidate weekly/monthly sales/stock analysis.
  16. Regularly work with HQ Merchandising Planning to understand best sellers/slow movers, to anticipate consolidation strategies, allocation/reallocation and replenishment, etc.
  17. Analyze end of season markdowns and support with the markdown lists.
  18. Non-merchandise material management, store expenses and cost optimization.
  19. Monitor retail costs for back-end activities, guaranteeing alignment with the budget.
  20. Ensure orders of main store operations tools and non-merchandise material are in line with store needs (anti-theft, pickers, kits, service rails, mobile devices, etc.).
  21. Coordinate proper allocation and management of uniform items.
  22. Train, nurture and motivate the team to achieve the highest level of efficiency, creating a stimulating and result-oriented work environment.
  23. Support HR and Store Managers on performance management of operations staff, making recommendations when necessary.

Key Requirements & Competencies

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. Experience in luxury fashion is a must.
  3. Good communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams.
  4. Proficient with MS applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other computer software (Internet, POS systems, etc).

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.
