About the Role:

Aquila is seeking experienced PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solutions Architects who will play a key role in leading successful customer deployments of Aras Innovator solutions.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S Citizen (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
  • Must be within commutable distance of Lexington, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical implementation team in the planning, elaboration, design, construction, and transition of solutions that exceed customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to negotiate with key customer stakeholders to ensure success.
  • Facilitate workshops, develop solutions, and build consensus across all stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned to business value.
  • Develop conceptual solution architecture using a combination of standard and custom applications to produce end-to-end customer solutions.
  • Support the development of requirements specifications, Use Cases, and functional specifications.
  • Perform solution analysis and develop customer-facing proposals and contribute to the development of proposals/statements of work.
  • Transform customer requirements into technical solutions through a thorough understanding of the Aras Innovator suite of tools.
  • Lead or participate in the delivery of Proof of Concept engagements at key prospects.
  • Provide input to the professional services team regarding methodology and tools.
  • Assign tasks to project members and review the team’s work products to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Professionally interact and communicate with customers and internal team members.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 years of experience in Design and Evaluation of Functional Systems.
  • 3 years of experience with DevOps processes, practices, and tools.
  • 8 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (architecture, design, implementation, documentation, & testing).
  • 8 years of experience in SQL Server Administration.
  • 8 years of experience in Architecture Governance.
  • 10 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management.
  • 8 years of experience in translating Business Requirements into Technical Specifications.
  • 8 years of experience with HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • 8 years of experience in Software Architecture.
  • 8 years of experience in Software Design/Development.
  • 1 year of experience with ARAS Innovator.
  • 8 years of experience in determining Systems Specifications.
  • 8 years of experience in Hardware and Software Integration.
  • 8 years of experience in Netcentric Software and Systems Architecture.
  • 8 years of experience in Systems Analysis.
  • 8 years of experience in Systems Architecture.
  • Technically self-sufficient with data modeling techniques, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office products. Installation and configuration of SQL Server, SQL Scripting (Transact SQL), SQL triggers, stored procedures, functions, etc.
  • Proficient with web programming languages such as C# (.NET), JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL.
  • Thorough understanding of large-scale enterprise application deployment methodologies with experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Ability to write clear, understandable Requirements, SOW, Specification documents, and Use Cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in any of the following verticals: Automotive, Consumer Products, High Tech Electronics, Aerospace, & Shipbuilding.
  • Industry knowledge of any of the following: Engineering Change processes, Phase Gate Project Management, Quality systems processes, DFMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, Manufacturing Process Planning, CMII change management.
  • Experience with data migration techniques from legacy systems.

Location: Candidate should expect to work onsite 1 day/week to meet with team members, users, etc.; the team may consider someone that is virtual (lives within 100 miles from the work site in Lexington, MA) as well as someone that would be willing to come onsite periodically (a few times a quarter) at their expense. The ideal candidate can be onsite once/week.

Clearance Expectations: Interim clearance is okay to start, must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance.
