Summary
Responsible for managing the organization’s investment portfolio and treasury functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however, other duties may be assigned. - Optimize financial returns on cash and investments across Alberici Enterprise:
- Maximize the interest received on day-to-day operating cash.
- Assess short term operating cash that could be invested for 30 / 90 / 180 days and recommend investment options with appropriate risk / liquidity profiles.
- Ongoing review and recommendations for the value to be placed in Alberici’s investment portfolio, and the related investment strategies.
- Research and recommend alternative investment options.
- Develop methodologies for assessing Alberici’s excess cash.
- Investment management:
- Develop Alberici’s investment policy statements to provide clear guidance and delegate authority across all operating cash and investments.
- Work with Alberici’s existing external investment managers to evaluate their performance, recommend changes, and ensure adherence to investment policy statements.
- Quarterly reports to Enterprise Leadership team.
- Treasury management:
- Manage treasury banking relationships and negotiate favorable terms for banking services.
- Oversee the day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, cash forecasting, wire transfers, and bank account administration.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to treasury activities.
- Assist with credit facility – issuing new or changes to Letters of Credit, reviewing the quarterly fees, assisting with renewal as needed, monitor compliance with covenants, etc.
- Identify opportunities to streamline existing treasury processes.
- Collaborate on system implementation projects to improve automation.

- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university AND a minimum six years related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment options, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical standards and a strong focus on compliance.
- Utilizes Microsoft Office-based applications and project management software systems appropriate for this role.
