About the Team
The US product team will focus on understanding our users, identifying opportunity areas, prioritizing the problems we must solve, and rapidly creating innovative user experience solutions. We are looking for experienced product managers to continually push the innovation bar on how we optimize products to drive new and existing user engagement and retention.


Responsibilities
  1. Delve into verticals (such as sports, news, etc.) in product perspective, and drive results for prosperous content ecosystem across users and content providers;
  2. Design and execute product strategies and features for both users and creators, based on a deep understanding of their needs and the vertical market;
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones to enhance the product capability of verticals, leverage the established capabilities of TikTok, and push forward optimization;
  4. Research on content products worldwide, provide insights into creator ecosystem development trends, and generate initiatives for creator growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree or higher, 3+ years working experience in internet companies, with insights into content products worldwide;
  2. Good at thinking logically, able to understand complicated situations, define problems, and develop approaches to achieve goals;
  3. Good at communication, coordination, and pushing forward initiatives, being result-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in both business-side and consumer-side;
  2. Proficient in English with excellent communication and presentation skills;
  3. Understanding of recommendation systems, machine learning, and A/B testing.

Job Information:

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $144,000 - $297,480 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
