Contract Transactional Attorney

Location: San Francisco (Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote)

Compensation: This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. The pay rate is estimated to be $80 - $120 per hour

LHH is working with a reputable law firm based in San Francisco in seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Transactional Attorney to join in office or remotely. The Contract Transactional Attorney will support multiple transactions in the firm’s affordable housing practice area. The attorney will need a background in one of the following areas of law: real estate, corporate governance, secured real estate transactions, low-income housing tax credits and partnership taxation.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to affordable housing transactions, transactional real estate, and private/public lending.

  • Provide legal support in navigating government processes and collaborating with governmental agencies.

  • Work on transactional matters with a focus on affordable housing projects.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure legal requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • A valid California Bar license.

  • 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, specializing in transactional matters.

  • Strong drafting and document review skills, with attention to detail.

  • Experience with both private and public lending.

  • Familiarity with affordable housing projects and working with governmental agencies.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Experience working with non-profit organizations, a plus.

  • Background in tax law, a plus.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite, Google Sheets, and Docs.



Pay Details: $80.00 to $120.00 per hour
