Job Description

The Dealer Sales Vice President develops & executes area sales strategy to drive profitability growth of the MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. (MBC) portfolio. This position manages all aspects of Dealer channel sales in the West or East region and is accountable for revenue, profit and share growth targets. This is a supervisory role with 4 direct field sales reports and reports to the Executive Vice President, Dealer-Wholesale Channel.


Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the Executive Vice President, Dealer to develop market sales strategy, leveraging the entire MBC portfolio.
  2. Champion sales for area by focusing on assisting regional managers with priority accounts. Marshal and deploy resources to grow target accounts.
  3. Align resources with strategy, set clear expectations and measurable goals, and establish boundaries; manage performance.
  4. Create team atmosphere where team members work together in pursuit of a common mission. Encourage open communication, establish a positive climate, align resources, and nurture commitment to the mission.
  5. Manage execution of strategic sales plan including prioritization of activities.
  6. Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
  7. Share updates with key MBC stakeholders, including executive team, other MBC sales team members and channel partners.
  8. Effectively manage activities in common markets.
  9. Work with Dealer Sales & Operations Manager to develop accurate sales forecasts.
  10. Support Product, Brand and Channel Marketing Teams in strategic planning and program execution.
  11. Develop an effective field sales force by ensuring they are all trained and leveraging the MBS.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  2. 10-15 years experience in sales with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position
  3. Demonstrated record of strategic sales planning & profitable market growth
  4. Demonstrated consultative selling skills
  5. Experience managing Channel Sales; Dealer-specific sales management preferred
