Hillcrest Health Services is currently seeking a Director of Assisted Living for our up and coming Senior Care Community, Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna.

What are my responsibilities?

  1. Monitor scheduling and payroll to ensure it is being completed timely and appropriately. Monitor for overtime usage and provide support to minimize.
  2. Read clinical notes daily and ensure education and direction are provided to team members as needed.
  3. Ensure health care management concerns are being handled timely and appropriately.
  4. Participate in admission process to include evaluation of residents prior to move in, move in paperwork and family education of the transition process.
  5. Development of team through meeting and ongoing coaching, mentoring and counseling with team members.
  6. Participate in on-going family meetings and provide support to families with any challenges or concerns the family may have.

What do I need to be considered?

  1. STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
  2. At least one year experience working with individuals or groups in a healthcare setting required.
  3. At least one year experience supervising others required.
  4. Associates degree required, preferably related to human services, behavioral health or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
