Ranked among the nation's top Construction Managers by Engineering News-Record, our client provides construction management, engineering, environmental, architectural, and program management solutions for a broad range of public and private sector clients. They are seeking talented and motivated engineering professionals to join their multi-disciplined team. They currently provide the opportunity for a hybrid/flex-hour work schedule.
Their continued growth has created an immediate need for a Senior Electrical Engineer for their Long Island, New York Office.
Responsibilities
- Coordination with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service
- Electrical system analysis and calculations
- Design of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load
- Design of fire alarm systems and low voltage systems
- Service room layout, utility conduit coordination, grounding, and lighting protection
- Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports
- Electrical & fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch lists
- Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e., Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10 years of relevant design experience
- PE License in New York required
- Able to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to multi-task on several projects at once
- Strong communication skills and the ability to pro-actively collaborate during the design and construction process
Additional Information
- They offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.
- Compensation: Minimum $100,000; Maximum: $170,000. The range provided is the salary that our client, in good faith, believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate's qualifications, years of experience, and location.
