**License:** Licensed by the State Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board
**Certifications:**
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- ARRT Board Certified in CT
- Current CPR certification
**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency with Siemens equipment
- CT boarded
- Must reside more than 80 miles away from the facility
**Job Description:**
- Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans and produce quality exam images.
- Exercise professional judgment in executing procedures and ensuring patient care, including initiating life support measures if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, family members, and healthcare workers.
- Operate CT equipment proficiently to produce quality scans and perform related procedures and protocols.
- Acquire necessary information from patients or their responsible parties for personalized treatment and care.
- Adapt to new technology and perform related tasks while being aware of general CT protocols.
- Work in a Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center, imaging both hospital and clinic patients, including post-processing of images.
- Participate in on-call rotation and weekend shifts as assigned, with occasional overnight call.
- Undergo a 2-week orientation process to become familiar with unit-specific training and procedures.
- Floating to other units or departments is not required.
