This position is responsible for supporting the M.L. Campbell sales, profit and marketing. This position involves sales through a distributor network consisting of but not limited to wholesale plywood distributors, wholesale hardware distributors, retail lumber yards, and independent paint stores. These customers will sell and service cabinet shops, furniture manufacturers, architectural millwork or other manufacturers of wood furnishings. The ability to communicate to both the distributor network and the end user customer base is vital to long-term success. This position will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of business plans to expand and develop new business opportunities and will utilize Sales Force for sales planning. Strong sales, training, administering, interpersonal and relationship developing skills are required. Additional responsibilities of the Account Manager include the following: Responsible for managing the M.L. Campbell sales, profit and marketing effort and surpassing sales goals by effectively implementing key divisional and brand strategies Responsible for maintaining and building relationships with distributors and working closely with these distributors to ensure continued growth in partnership. Responsible for developing and implementing training programs. Required to understand and demonstrate product application, including troubleshooting, application equipment set up and application technique Required to develop, implement and work within a developed business plan P&L responsibility FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Bachelor's Degree - consideration will be given to significant work experience in absence of a degree. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 3 - 5 years of sales and management experience Preferred: Paint or wood finish experience along with spray application of finish is highly preferred. Experience interacting with senior management / business owners is strongly preferred.
