Senior International Tax

Job Description
Our client is looking for a Senior International Tax Analyst to join their organization. The collaborative, inquisitive and highly motivated member of our regional / global Process, Projects and IT team will be responsible for optimizing technology, process, and project management methods to ensure effective and efficient tax operations, tax risk management and tax governance functions.
Major responsibilities include:

• Lead or key team member of cross-functional, regional, and global tax projects and initiatives
• Functional design, development, configuration, testing and documentation of new or upgraded tax systems
• Monitor, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot existing tax systems including issue tracking and resolution
• Lead or key team member responsible to develop, train, implement and communicate tax systems requirements, process, and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Management, Accounting, Finance or Master's Degree.
• 5+ years in a national/regional/global corporate, tax, accounting and/or business systems environment
• 3+ years configuration / maintenance experience with indirect tax systems (i.e., Vertex O Series, Thomson Reuters); ERP (i.e., SAP) systems; Microsoft Office and SharePoint systems
• 3+ years project / process management experience
• 2+ years of data analytic experience to include desktop automation and data visualization tools (i.e., Alteryx, Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP certification
• Vertex certification
• US, Mexican and Canadian tax and accounting experience
• Experience with direct tax systems (i.e., Corptax)
• Experience working in a global team environment
• Experience with RPA tools (i.e., UI Path, Automation Anywhere)
